Reporting & Planning Application Developer (w/m/d) - Controlling Solutions & Analytics

As a Reporting & Planning Application Developer (w/m/d) in the specialized team “Controlling Solutions & Analytics” within the Group Controlling, you actively shape the group-wide BI landscape. Your focus is on developing powerful planning, forecasting and reporting solutions with Longview Analytics and Power BI. You work in a dynamic environment with high data quality, scalability and governance requirements and transform innovative concepts into sustainable technical solutions.

Solution development & implementation: You design and develop group-wide planning, forecasting and reporting solutions based on Longview Analytics and Power BI - from request intake to productive introduction. Modeling & Visualization: You create complex planning and forecasting models as well as interactive dashboards that effectively support decision-making in controlling and management. Longview Analytics Expertise: You develop and maintain applications in Longview Analytics, including relational data modeling, business rules, workflows and user interfaces. Power BI Reporting: You create high-quality Power BI reports and dashboards based on TM1 data models that meet the specific requirements of the disciplines. Governance & quality assurance: You ensure compliance with Group-wide standards and governance requirements and ensure high data quality in all reporting and planning solutions. Cooperation & Knowledge Transfer: You work closely with the Group IT Data Analytics Team as well as the controlling and BI teams of global business units. You bring your expertise into cross-departmental projects and promote knowledge transfer between central and decentralized units.

You have a completed university degree in economics, natural sciences, (economic) informatics or a comparable qualification. You have several years of experience in the design, implementation and optimization of complex BI solutions. You are versed in dealing with Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query and visualizing complex requirements. Experience in the integration of data from SAP, TM1 and SQL Server is advantageous, but not a central requirement for your role. You bring a distinct analytical mindset, self-initiative and the ability to communicate complex topics according to target groups. You can control German and English fluently and feel safe in an international environment.
