We are looking for a support for our team in the Medical Controlling division at the next possible time

Klinische Kodierfachkraft (m/w/d) für die Intensivstation

in full time or part-time with a weekly working time of 30 hours.

Your responsibility:

• Complex case coding: You take over the timely, appropriate and complete coding of diagnostics (ICD-10-GM) and procedures (OPS).
• Focus ICU specialties: They capture intensive-medical complex shells (SAPS/TISS), breathing hours and complex procedures seamlessly.
• Cross-departmental dialogue: you advise the medical and nursing ICU team to optimize the residence and treatment documentation.

Your profile:

• Professional qualification in the medical, nursing or health-administering field with professional experience in coding (ideally in intensive medicine, respiratory cases)
• Safe handling of the German Code Directives (DKR) and the DRG system
• You have secure IT skills (optimal KIS ORBIS [Dedalus] and common MS Office programs).
• An independent way of working, quick conception, communication strength in dealing with the medical staff and pleasure in team work are your distinguishing feature.
