As a Medical/Technologist/Technologist for Radiology (MTR), you conduct medically arranged diagnostic studies and therapeutic measures independently and independently check the quality of your results. In addition to the creation of X-ray images, computer tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance tomography (MRT) in radiological diagnostics, the versatile tasks of the MTR include the irradiation of benign and malignant diseases in radiation therapy as well as the diagnosis and therapy using radioactive substances in nuclear medicine. MTR works in hospitals, established practices and medical care centers. It is also possible to use research and development.

The training lasts three years and completes the state examination. The theoretical teaching takes place at the Lette Verein Berlin. Practical training takes place at the institutes of the Vivantes Clinic. Since you work closely with patients, sensitivity, and patience should be your characteristics. Complex facts must be comprehensible and person-oriented. A technical and physical understanding is important when working with the most modern medical devices.
