As a Team Marketplace Governance, we are responsible for the cross-border management of the marketplace business. As an expert for our respective subject area, we work cross-functionally with various colleagues across areas and companies. You are responsible for and accompanying different projects as well as permanent topics in the compliance environment. Our goal is to create a clear awareness of the marketplace's conditions without losing sight of the needs of our partners and customers. As part of the compliance team at OTTO Market, you will gain insights into various legal areas in eCommerce and OTTO Market, from civil law to tax law to data protection and competition and antitrust law. You'll create documents for internal compliance training and run them together with the compliance team for our colleagues. Taking into account legal framework conditions, you support the operational processes of onboarding and offboarding partners on OTTO Market as well as the further development of the marketplace, including in an international context. You work closely with relevant interfaces (e.g. our lawyers) within the Otto Group and advise with your expertise in overarching projects. You develop internal compliance guides. You are a registered student*in in a Bachelor's degree (min. 5th semester) or Master's degree with focus on business law/comliance/BWL with supplementary legal subjects/tax law, or you are in your Gap Year between Bachelor and Master. You can now support us for ideally 5 to 6 months. You have already gained first relevant practical experience, e.g. through internships, student work or training. You are strong in communication, like to introduce your own ideas and have fun working on new solutions for a rapidly evolving environment. You are open to employing you more with AI tools and using them for your work. Your language level: German C2 (approximately native) and English B1 ( advanced language use) .
