You will be hired as an IT specialist in the IT system house. Possible places of work for this tender are: Nuremberg/Fürth, Berlin, Chemnitz, Düsseldorf, Hannover, Krefeld, Lübeck, Mainz. We – the Internal Developer Platform (IDP) department – are the first contacts for infrastructure and platform topics for BA's software developers. We operate the Kubernetes-based intranet container platform in the department, as well as the central development tools, taking care of the Connectivity theme in the ICP environment. Tasks and activities Together in an agile team, you can provide and further develop the Intranet container platform (ICP). This provides the strategic operating platform for all internal processes in the large system landscape of the BA based on Kubernetes (K8s). With your team, you are responsible for the ICP's connectivity components, i.e. applications that ensure functional and secure communication within the clusters and across cluster boundaries. To do this, you will design and develop technical solutions in cooperation with the infrastructure, platform and development teams. This includes knowledge transfer and support for development teams on ICP and related tools as well as continuous training in the field of K8s networking. Your tasks include the planning, management and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructures as well as the analysis of system requirements and performance data to continuously optimize our systems. In addition, you will be responsible for the development, updating and monitoring of software to ensure that our systems are up-to-date. Another important aspect of your work will be to ensure system availability and security. Identification and elimination of system problems to protect our data and systems from potential threats.
