As an embedded software engineer, you develop forward-looking embedded systems together with our interdisciplinary team – from the idea to the finished solution. Exciting tasks await you: Conception, development and integration of embedded software – including requirement analysis, specification, architecture & design, implementation, documentation and test Planning, tracking and presentation of technical work packages as part of agile development projects Development of existing embedded systems with a view to stability, storage use, CPU utilization and real-time capability With design and continuous improvement of our development processes and methods Exchange of knowledge and close cooperation in the agile team

Professional experience in hardware-related software development with C and C++ Secure technical understanding of all phases of a software project – from planning to release Knowledge of microprocessor technology and work with microcontrollers (especially ARM & STM32) Ideally experience with FPGAs and real-time operating systems (e.g. FreeRTOS) Good knowledge of popular peripheral interfaces and bus systems such as USB, UART, I2C and SPI Ability to analyze, document and evaluate complex software systems Experience with IEC 62304 (desirable, but no need)
