Together with our partners, we qualify the software of the intelligent measuring system components in our unique test laboratory and thus ensure the smooth operation of the measuring technology used by our customers. With our know-how and our high quality standards we set the standards in Metering! The diverse components of the intelligent measuring system - Smart Meter Gateway, Base Counter, Control Box and Modem - are all continuously developed by our suppliers. Their complex interfaces are constantly confronting us with new challenges. As a test manager (m/w/d), you actively shape our qualification process and contribute significantly to the quality and availability of the device software as part of the team for telecommunication technology.

A task that challenges You are engaged in the qualification of the smart meter gateways of different manufacturers, in particular the communication interfaces, e.g. via LTE, Powerline,... You take responsibility for all tasks within a test stage of the qualification process: from the test strategy, the time and content planning and implementation to the evaluation. Deviations and obstacles communicate transparently and actively promote solution finding. You continuously improve the test processes and tools including upstream and downstream measurement system components and IT systems. With the relevant contact persons, you agree on this. You carry out the analysis, reproduction and evaluation of software errors together with the Product-Owner and the Supplier. You support the further development of intelligent measurement systems by developing new requirements and actively participate in the introduction of new functions and communication technologies.

A background that convinces A study in the field of information, electrical engineering or in a comparable course of study. Experience in the energy industry or in the field of telecommunications as well as measurement and electrical engineering is advantageous. You are strongly interested in process data technology, communications technology and telecommunications. You have very good German knowledge in word and writing (at least C1) and good English knowledge.
