Teamleiter Service Management Platform (w/m/d)

In the dm working group, we – the team IT service management – are responsible for the further development of our Service Management platform ServiceNow. Our goal is to optimize and automate processes. For this purpose, we advise the various support teams to efficiently shape their processes and work in agile teams with state-of-the-art technologies, including AI-based tools and generic AI.

We attach great importance to the continuous development of our platform and our portfolio. We make technology and architecture decisions in the team. We are looking for someone who wants to take responsibility in this exciting environment and develop both the working field and the working community.

Team responsibility: leadership and responsibility for the IT-Service Management team. Technical Responsibility: Optimization and Automation of Processes with Service Management Platform ServiceNow as well as the management of agile teams using state-of-the-art technologies, including AI-based tools. Economic responsibility: planning and controlling of investments and capacities in the team as well as economic responsibility for team activities. Own-sponsored further development: Initiatives and independent driving forward the technical, technical and organizational orientation of the area of responsibility. Employee development: Accompanying and promoting employees in their professional and personal development in the sense of dm corporate culture. Collaboration: Close cooperation with other dmTECH teams, specialist departments and external partners to promote synergies and best practices.

Leadership: Extensive experience in employee management, with an empathic leadership style that promotes independent, innovative and entrepreneurial action. Technical understanding: Long-standing experience in software development, ideally in the field of service management and experience with generic AI. Knowledge: In-depth experience in ITIL and processes related to IT Service Management (ITSM), Service Level Management, Service Desk and Incident and Problem Management. Entrepreneurial thinking: ability to think and act entrepreneurially and motivation to question existing processes and develop innovative solutions. Analytical Interest: Interest in Analytical Questions and comprehensive understanding of the technical, technological and organizational issues in the field of service management. Communication strength: Very good communicative skills in German (min. C1) and English, coupled with team skills and humor.
