What comes to you: As a track builder, you make sure that trains drive safely and connect people. You rebuild tracks, switches and intersections or rebuild them. For this you are on the way, in railway stations or in industrial plants. You often work with concrete, asphalt, pipes and cables. The training takes 3 years and takes place both in the company, in the vocational school in Siegen and Essen as well as in over-company training facilities in Siegen and Oberhausen. After 2 years, the step training ends with the completion of the civil engineering specialist. In the 3rd year the specialization takes place with completion to the track builder.
