Home Office possible BWI's architecture & portfolio management (AP) sets the guidelines and sets targets for the strategy-compliant orientation of the service/performance portfolio as well as the IT architecture of BWI, derived from the strategic framework documents, concepts and planning of customers, shareholders and BWI. The architecture and portfolio management as a strategic partner assumes responsibility for the transparent and effective planning of the required IT services. The service and performance portfolio is the core of the BWI and ensures that we can meet the growing requirements of our customers in the future. With the help of architecture and portfolio management, we bundle our entire performance and support our customers as an IT system house and reliable digitalization partner. The Department of Planning & Execution Management (PEM) actively plans the service and performance portfolio of BWI and manages its further development in a targeted manner.

Management and disciplinary leadership of a team of about 20 people, thereby controlling the use of resources and monitoring the achievement of targets (e.g. utilisation and development goals) in the area of responsibility Responsibility for the content of the portfolio Target images and medium- and long-term implementation planning of the service portfolio as part of the BWI corporate strategy and related processes

Responsibility for the content of IT architecture planning, IT construction planning and medium and long-term implementation planning

Designing the entire BWI-wide service development and the associated complex and critical projects Budget responsibility for the own cost center as well as for managing the portfolio and architecture development budgets incl. CSI (Continual Service Improvement)

Advising top management and management in this context

Designing the Service Portfolio, SSD and Technology sub strategies

Completed studies from the field of economic/ingenieurswissenschaften or computer science

At least 6 years of relevant professional experience, especially in IT Enterprise architecture or IT Portfolio Management

Experience and advanced methodological knowledge in the disciplined leadership of teams

Proven successes in the management of technical customer projects

Knowledge of the IT structures of the Bundeswehr desirable

Very good communication behaviour, proactive stakeholders management and negotiation experience at all levels within the framework of large technical projects Moderation experience and experience in the application of agile methods

German and very good English skills
