Director Finance & Controlling – Karlsruhe (m/f/d)

As Director Finance & Controlling (w/m/d), you are responsible for the entire financial sector, including accounting, controlling and tax. You report directly to the managing director and work closely with the holding company's CFO. Their main tasks can be summarized as follows: Head of Accounting & Controlling Responsibility for the creation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts according to IFRS and annual transfer to HGB Regular accounting & tax reporting as well as responsibility for a uniform international reporting including KPI framework and management reviews as well as further development of consolidation and final processes Creation of budget planning and forecasts as well as continuous receivable management, liquidity management and risk management Successive further development of the ERP system (SAP S/4HANA) in the area of responsibility Coordination, implementation and monitoring of external audits Management of tax corporations and cross-company cooperation in performance accounting with the Group companies Manage, coaching and further development of the approximately 8-member team

In this role, we are looking for a high level of implementation, which brings together the following qualifications: Successfully completed economic studies, ideally with the focus of Finance and/or Controlling Multiannual professional experience in leading financial function in internationally operating, producing medium-sized enterprises (matrix/multi- entity structures), ideally in the project business in machine/plant engineering Very good knowledge of German trade and tax law as well as experience with international accounting (IFRS), comprehensive understanding of IFRS 15 “Revenue Recognition over time (POC)” desirable Funded SAP knowledge and strong IT affinity Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing, further knowledge of foreign languages
