We are looking for a Student Research Assistant (gn) part-time (working hours are negotiable), to start as soon as possible. You will support different stages of quantitative research projects, mainly focusing on labor market regulations (such as minimum dars). Your main tasks include data preparation/management, econometric analyses of administrative register data, and the preparation of output (figures, tables). Further duties: (1) communication and coordination between different parts of the research team and public sector agencies in Germany and the EU; (2) support in scoping exercises, that explore feasible of different project steps.
Student with a background in Data Science, Economics, or Public Policy, with experience in data work and a keen interest in labor market regulations. Data management and programming experiences (R, Python, Stata) are key assets. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Regular presence in Berlin is required.
