The Albtal Transport Company (AVG) transports around 46 million passengers per year with its city railways. As Controller*in (m/w/d), you are responsible for individual AVG divisions and report directly to the Head of Controlling You work actively, in cooperation with the accounting team, on the monthly, quarterly and annual accounts You create standard and special reports (statistics, evaluations, ad hoc analyses, etc.) and budget / forecasts for management You identify major budget deviations within the monthly early warning, initiate counter-control measures and monitor them. You work closely with accounting and other departments You work on operational and strategic controlling topics You further optimise and develop the process landscape, in particular the reporting refund systems, to the needs of internal and external target groups. Successfully completed studies of business management with the focus on finance / controlling or equivalent degree You have at least 3 years of professional experience You are familiar with MS Office and SAP CO, ideally you have already gained first experience with Business Intelligence (BI) systems and have extensive knowledge of business costing techniques and business case analysis Extensive analytical thinking, numerical understanding and a very good understanding are your strengths High self-motivation as well as a result-oriented operation, even in phases of high stress Creativity, determination and courage to question and change existing processes Teamability, target orientation, communication strength, implementation strength and hands-on mentality Convincing expertise, methods and implementation skills Very good knowledge of German in word and writing Passion and enthusiasm for the SPNV/ÖPNV area
