Planning, monitoring and optimisation of welding processes (especially for high-strength fine-grain steels) Creation and maintenance of welding instructions (WPS) and welding instruction tests (pWPS) Coordination of welding operations (technical and organizational) Monitoring standards and quality requirements Participation in the qualification of welding personnel (e.g. welding tests) Welding technical advice for quality assurance, work preparation and production Interface to Quality Assurance, Manufacturing and Customers Acquisition of activity as welding supervision DIN EN ISO 14731

What you are bringing to completion of further training as a welding technician (DVS) or studies with degree as a welding specialist (m/w/d) Additional qualifications e.g. material testing, ZfP (VT 2, MT 2, PT 2), quality management in welding operation, experience with audited QM systems (e.g. according to ISO 9001, ISO 3834, EN 1090) They have a deep understanding of welding processes, especially MAG and WIG special knowledge for the processing of high-strength fine-grain steels as well as knowledge about materials, especially for thermal influences and crack avoidances in fine-grain steels round off your profile Experience in creating WPS, WPQR and PQR Safe handling of standards and regulations, including DIN EN ISO 15614 (welding process testing), DIN EN ISO 9606 (welding testing), DIN EN ISO 3834 (square requirements) Basic knowledge of ZfP processes (e.g. visual inspection, magnetic powder testing, color penetration testing) Experience with quality assurance and welding documentation Knowledge of welding seam calculation and construction are advantageous
