Hygiene inspectors/health supervisors (m/f/d)

An essential part of your work is infection protection. You carry out investigations, consultations, instructions and environmental studies on the occurrence of predictable pathogens and diseases under the Infection Protection Act (IfSG). Its monitoring activities include the hygiene of infections of surveillance facilities under the IfSG and the Lower Saxony Public Health Service Act (NGöGD). You independently control drinking water extraction, drinking water treatment and drinking water installations as well as other water supply systems according to the drinking water regulation (TrinkwV), carry out expert sampling and evaluate the results using measurement techniques. You monitor EU bathing waters according to EU bathing water regulation. Findings are carefully documented by you, drafted opinions and arranged to prevent danger. You enter laboratory and measurement results, enter the data into the specialist software (ISGA) and report it to defined institutions. You control the traffic of medicines outside pharmacies and monitor compliance with the law for protection against non-ionic radiation (NiSG) and the UV protection regulation. You work with other authorities and external service providers.

You have a completed training for the hygiene controller/health monitor (m/w/d). You have a well-founded knowledge of the relevant legal bases, in particular the Infection Protection Act, the Drinking Water Regulation and the requirements of the generally accepted rules of technology (e.g. DIN and EN standards) and are safe to use. You are responsible for your assigned workspace. You therefore work independently and very structured, so that processes can also be traced. You can prioritize and edit your various tasks. With the client you maintain a binding and value-assuring communication. Your empathic way and ability to find solutions in challenging situations and to promote understanding among all stakeholders helps you. You exchange with colleagues, share relevant information and take into account the different areas of work and competence. You appreciate the varied activities that require both external operations and work in the office. Even bets outside the regular working hours are not a problem for you. In dealing with the Office applications, you are safe and willing to work on short-term and independent applications, knowledge of the specialist software “ISGA” would be desirable. You have the licence of Class B for regular external service operations (a service car is placed).
