Senior Solution Architect - Data & AI / Microsoft Fabric (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the technical delivery in our customer projects – from architecture to productive operation – and you carry out the project team professionally. You think strategic, but just as much as you like. This means:

Conception and design of data architectures (Medallion, Lakehouse, Warehouse) to match the customer context – and their technical implementation in Microsoft Fabric (Pipelines, Notebooks, semantic models) Integration of heterogeneous source systems, especially SAP, as well as Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics. The clean connection of SAP process data is not an edge topic, but the core of performance You coordinate and run the project team professionally. The disciplinary leadership lies with the Head of Division You develop your colleague through reviews, pairing and common solution design Security, Governance & Operation Permission Models, Sensitivity Labels and Privacy Concepts (including Microsoft Purview) within the Fabric Environment Structure of predictable solutions via CI/CD (Git, DevOps) for sustainable operation Sparring partners at the customer interface Classification of technical solutions in the customer's technical context – in close coordination with our strategy consultants and the field manager, who conduct process and strategic consulting

We do not seek a person who knows as many product names as possible, but an experienced architect:in-personality that understands data architectures, makes good technical decisions and takes responsibility for productive solutions. Multiannual experience (ideally 4+ years) in data architecture and data engineering projects with productively operated data platforms Funded understanding of Medallion, Lakehouse and Warehouse concepts including their differences and areas of application Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric (Notebooks, Pipelines, OneLake, Data Factory) or comparable technologies in the Azure Data ecosystem Experience of leading a project team professionally and coordinating colleagues – disciplinary leadership experience is not a prerequisite experience in the connection of source systems; Experience with SAP as a source system is a clear plus Hands-on mentality: You want to design, lead and implement yourself Secure, convincing appearance to customers – also at decision-making level. You represent technical solutions comprehensible, run through appointments and are a reliable contact person at the customer interface Very good German and very good English skills, written as in the direct customer talk.

A plus – but no need Fabric develops rapidly. We expressly do not expect you to have several years of experience with every single service – it is crucial that you master modern data engineering principles and quickly evaluate new technologies.
