Senior Expert OT - Telecontrol and Network Technology (m/f/d)

Design the safe energy supply of Munich's local transport! Do you want to play a central role in the development and safeguarding of our OT systems? Then you will become part of our team in OT Engineering secondary technology electricity. You work on monitoring, control and communication of high-availability OT systems for the driving current of U Bahn and Tram – from rectifier plants to communication and control systems, both in new construction projects and in ongoing operation. Together, we are driving forward the modernization, maintenance and further development of our OT infrastructure, thereby ensuring stability, safety and availability of the power supply in Munich.

Ensuring the stable and secure operation of the OT systems of the power supply for underground and tram systems – from remote power and transmission technology to OT networks. Parameterization and programming of automation, remote control, visualization and station control systems including interfaces, data buses and transmission processes. Planning, operation and optimization of OT networks for power plants and responsibility for their secure connection to control and composite systems using current OT security concepts. Integration of new components in control, protection and remote control systems as well as analysis and sustainable troubleshooting in OT, communication and network technology to increase availability. Accompanying new building, modernization, rebuilding and retrofit projects – from technical design to testing to commissioning and acceptance. Support of OT Security and ISMS measures, further development of technical standards, evaluation of new technologies, as well as advice on specialist areas, projects and management.

Complete technical studies (e.g. electrical engineering, automation, computer science) or a comparable qualification. Multiannual professional experience with automation and PLC systems (e.g. Siemens Simatic S5/S7, Schneider Modicon, AEG/OHP) as well as with remote control, transmission and network technology, ideally in the KRITIS environment. Very good knowledge of network technology and OT networks (TCP/IP, VLAN, Routing, Redundancy, Industry Ethernet) as well as profound experience in OT /IT Security and ISMS processes (e.g. ISO 27000, KRITIS, IEC 62443). Practical experience with switching systems, protection and station control as well as very good knowledge of relevant communication protocols (e.g. IEC 60870 5 104). Analytical, structured and independent working methods, high problem solving competence as well as team skills and an esteeming, empathic attitude. Safe handling of MS Office, driving class B as well as readiness to external services and call.
