You are responsible for the development and optimization of digital content through metadata, controlled vocabularies and semantic enrichment, thereby ensuring a consistent commitment and categorisation You develop and manage taxonomys as well as controlled vocabularies and ensure their continuous development You will see the interface between expert: inside the editors and developers: to integrate new metadata workflows (including semi-automatic AI-based processes) and to support the selection and further development of suitable tools You carry out quality control of existing metadata and ensure its consistency and accuracy You train and advise colleagues in the interface between editorial staff and technology in dealing with metadata, taxonomy and workflows to ensure efficient use and application and to strengthen knowledge transfer

You have practical experience with metadata models (e.g. Dublin Core), taxonomy and management systems as well as knowledge in library and documentary standards You bring technical know-how for interfaces, data formats (such as XML, JSON, RDF) and digital media systems You have a degree in Information Science, Library, Documentation, Data Science or a comparable qualification Your meticulous, structured and analytical way of working distinguish you as well as your ability to clearly identify complex relationships You are strong in communication, can involve different stakeholders and enjoy interdisciplinary cooperation Very good German skills complete your profile (at least C1) Optimally, you bring knowledge of AI-based metadata enrichment tools and automated development technologies with
