Lead Expert Military IT - deployable data centers (m/w/d)

As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With over 7,000 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. Together with us, you are worried about the future digital capability of the Bundeswehr. Lead Expert Military IT - data centers (m/w/d) from now on and in full time at a BWI location. The Customer Solution Unit CIR & See is responsible for BWI's projects and projects towards the customer in the dimensions “Cyber- & Informationsraum” and “See” of the Bundeswehr. This includes solutions in the context of IT, in support of operations and exercises, for transferable systems, to ensure the IT supply of Bw abroad and also of the Marine, both for stationary and sea-based shares.

Responsibility for the creation and documentation of network architectures and security solutions including technical target images as well as realizable concepts for transferable, container-based data centers Take over the final technical responsibility for solutions as well as participation in the creation of calculations (e.g. in changes) Development of innovative, scalable and secure IT infrastructure solutions according to the specific requirements of mobile data centers Coordination of the creation of Solution Blueprints and performance descriptions as well as planning network transitions of different security classifications according to customer requirements Continuous requirements engineering in close coordination with the internal request manager as well as external customers and users Technical advice throughout the entire project phase including the creation of architectural documentation and technical specifications Implementation of risk analyses and development of appropriate measures in close cooperation with internal IT Security

Completed studies in the IT field or comparable training About 7 years of professional experience in IT architecture, preferably in the context of data centers and mobile infrastructures Found experience in the planning and implementation of modular and scalable data center solutions Knowledge in the areas of network and firewall design of eligible security solutions according to BSI basic protection Very good communication and presentation capabilities as well as a good modeling and display capability with respect to achieved results A result-oriented, structured and reliable way of working as well as delegation capability and loadability German and good English knowledge in word such as writing and readiness to travel
