METHA (mechanical separation of port sediments) is a one-time mechanical engineering plant and is operated to ensure the water depths in the Port of Hamburg for international shipping at any time. It has the task of preparing the polluted sediment in the port according to ground-mechanical aspects.

Our heart beats for the Port of Hamburg, which connects us! You carry out plant engineering professionally and disciplinaryly, set priorities, develop your team and ensure successful cooperation. You are responsible for the planning, control and continuous optimization of the maintenance and repair of our technical equipment. You analyze malfunctions and operating data, conduct improvements and develop economic maintenance and plant concepts. You coordinate multi-disciplinary projects for the expansion, modernization and optimization of plants and bring your technical expertise to new and remodeling. You take responsibility for occupational safety and health in your area as well as the tasks of the radiation protection officers. You control resources and budgets for efficient technical and operational processes.

You can apply to a successfully completed study of mechanical engineering or as an alternative to ship technology / ship propulsion technology, process engineering or the like (Bachelor or Dipl. FH) with proven professional experience in industrial machinery and plant operations. You have a safe handling of popular MS Office applications and have good knowledge in SAP PM/MM. Mind. first knowledge of occupational health and safety you could already acquire. Social competence, enforcing strength and a safe occurrence are yours. A class B licence is desirable.
