Currently, the three product areas of video systems, access control & intrusion reporting systems and communication systems as well as the associated cross-sectional functions within the business unit are to be set up as an independent unit and subsequently developed by a new owner as a sustainable core business. International and interdisciplinary cooperation: As a Data Center & Network Architect (w/m/div.), you will become part of the new society to be set up and work in a globally networked team of about 4300 colleagues working in over 50 countries. Design and planning of the network and data center infrastructure in close cooperation with other architects and corporate architects is your responsibility, as well as updating architecture documentation. Supporting decision-making by providing technically and financially meaningful options along with the Service Owner is one of your activities. Also implement effective methods for monitoring and performance measurement (technical, organisational and contractual); they propose measures to optimize performance and resource use in the context of ongoing architectural work. In addition, ensuring security and compliance in the network and data center area is their task. They are in close coordination and cooperation with IT teams, cloud architects and business units to align IT with business requirements.

Education: completed university studies in computer science, computer science or comparable qualifications Experiences and know-how: network architecture and design, including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, MPLS, VPN and hybrid networks, network segmentation, routing and switching (Cisco, Juniper, Arista); design of data center infrastructures, including computing, storage and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix), topology of the data center, redundancy and emergency recovery (DR); Overview of cloud and hybrid networks, including AWS, Azure, Google cloud networks (VPCs, VNets, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect), hybrid cloud connectivity, SDN and edge computing; Security and compliance considerations, including firewall architectures (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA), zero-trust concepts, NAC, encryption, microsegmentation and basic understanding of security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR); Sense for automation approaches such as network automation (Ansible, Terraform, Python, Cisco ACI) and monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, ThousandEyes) Personality and working methods: You work across areas with security, cloud and application teams by constantly connecting and combining the different perspectives Languages: very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
