Senior Backend Software Engineer (m/f/d)

You develop scalable, performant and safe backend solutions with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate and REST – according to the API-First approach. You work with modern architectural approaches such as Microservices, Modulithen and Event Driven Architecture and continuously develop our platform. With Domain-Driven Design (DDD), you can easily create complex business logic with professionally clean and long-term maintenance. You discuss technical requirements with product management and partly directly with our customers and translate them into sustainable technical solutions. You opt for existing microservices and software modules and continuously develop them. Of course, you use AI tools – the responsibility for the code keeps you: you judge whether code and design are viable and to Skills fit and have risks and side effects in mind. With clean code, meaningful tests and clear documentation for high software quality – bug fixing included. You support integration into our cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, OpenStack) and contribute to our CI/CD pipelines. You take responsibility for technical concepts and architectural decisions, evaluierst new technologies and shape our technical standards. You pass on your knowledge in Code Reviews and Mentoring and promote technical growth in the team. You always keep in mind performance, scalability, security and expandability and actively contribute to their continuous optimization.

You bring well-founded experience in the backend development with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate and REST and know you with modern architectural approaches. You connect technology and expertise: You penetrate complex relationships, model business processes and translate them into sustainable architectures thanks to a pronounced abstraction capacity. You take responsibility for key architectural decisions. You understand software development as an engineering discipline: You master craftsmanship – methods, design patterns and principles such as DDD or API design – and use it to solve technical problems and structure complex systems cleanly. Clean, predictable code is for you the basis of sustainable software, not self-interest. You think analytically, have fun in technical challenges and find pragmatic solutions. You like to work in the team and develop pragmatic solutions together with developers, architects and product managers.
