The team of the Departments of Mathematics consists of 4 – 6 persons and works closely with the Fachkolleg:innen der Deutschen Kinder- und Jugendstiftung. The non-profit Children's Foundation is committed to good early education in the fields of mathematics, computer science, natural science and technology (MINT) – with the aim of making children strong for the future and empowering them to act sustainably. Together with its local network partners, the Foundation offers a national educational programme for educational specialists and teachers. They are supported to accompany children in Kita and Primary Schools qualified in the discovery, research and learning. The Foundation for Children researches educational opportunities, promotes interest in the STEM area and professionalizes educational staff.
