As part of the global corporate communication of Mercedes-Benz AG, we inform more than 160,000 employees worldwide about business results, financial topics and economic developments. We use different channels and formats, from social intranet to video talks and newsletters to dialogue events. During your internship, you research topics, develop and create your own content and accompany projects from the first idea to the implementation. Another focus of our work is internal media training for executives. You get an additional perspective on media and communication work. You participate in the development of new exercises and training formats and assist in their preparation and implementation. At the same time, you will get exciting insights into press work and interview management and learn a lot about professional performances in front of camera and audience. Your tasks in detail: Working with cross-media communication concepts, new communication formats and current projects Research and creation of own contributions for internal communication Supporting the business news platform “Talking Business” including thematic planning and maintenance of content in the content management system Design and editing of layouts, graphics and photos Working at Group-wide Internal Communication on Quarterly Results and Annual General Meeting Support in preparing and implementing virtual and personal dialogue formats for employees Working with the design of new exercises and formats for internal media training, including the creation of training documents, as well as support in training The activity can begin from December 2026.

Course in Communications, Media, Economics, Social Sciences, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or a comparable degree course Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Secure handling of MS Office (especially Word, Outlook and PowerPoint) First experiences with Adobe programs as well as AI (Artificial Intelligence) assistance systems are advantageous Impressed communication skills and creativity High curiosity, initiative and a structured and reliable way of working First practical experience in journalism or press work is desirable Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.
