Construction, calibration and operation of test, validation and calibration stations for optical 3D coordinate measuring systems and industrial robot systems performing measurements in the field of optical geometric coordinate measurement technology as well as analysis and evaluation, reproducibility and measurement uncertainty taking into account relevant standards (GUM, ISO10360) and customer specifications (VDA 5) Development, optimization and validation of calibration and service routines for complex geometric coordinate measuring systems Creation and documentation of best practices for design, calibration, commissioning and service of optical 3D coordinate measuring systems Support in the development and optimization of new products, prototypes and technical solutions Coordination of technical requirements with internal development areas as well as external partners and suppliers Analysis of technical error images and support in 2nd level support and troubleshooting Cooperation with software, sensor and system development as well as production, project management and commissioning Support for international customer deployments, rollouts, commissioning and technical training Training and professional exchange with internal colleagues and team

Successfully completed studies (Master/Diplom) in the field of engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, physics, automation technology or comparable Experience in measuring technology, validation, laboratory environment or optical 3D coordinate measuring systems Knowledge of the analysis, evaluation and optimization of complex technical systems Very good understanding of measuring accuracy, reproducibility, calibration and technical validation of coordinate measuring technology Analytical and structured thinking and experience in solving technical problems Programming skills in Python, Octave or the like are of advantage Knowledge in coordinate systems, transformations, statistics and relevant measuring standards Experience with industrial robot systems and optical coordinate measurement Structured, independent and team-oriented work German language skills and good English skills in word and writing Ready for occasional international customer missions
