As a member of our management team, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement your own ideas in a collegial environment, making an important contribution to supporting the clinical, scientific and administrative departments of the University Medicine Göttingen in their management of their tasks in research, teaching and medical care. You assume the overall responsibility for the Information Technology business unit Your responsibility lies in the overall operational management of the IT system landscape You take over the operational management and central organization of information technology and ensure smooth IT operation You actively and together with your team to design the central IT services for the UMG departments You take responsibility and control for the central IT projects and the transformation of the software landscape and the network segment structure Establishing a new KIS and conversion to SAP S4 HANA. To do this, you build a structured project and portfolio management that allows you to transparently control and prioritize IT investments and IT projects You maintain constructive and trusting cooperation with the Executive Board, the specialist departments, the Human Resources Council and other internal and external stakeholders You take over the disciplinary leadership, development and structuring of the IT sector. This includes regular employee talks with employees, personnel development measures and the strategic development of the area As a specialist contact person, you advise the Management Board on IT-related issues as well as investments and strategic decisions

You have completed university studies in computer science, business informatics, data science or a comparable qualification with a clear IT reference. Professional experience in hospital is desirable You bring professional experience in the IT field and have already gained experience in the responsible personnel management in your professional career You have well-founded knowledge of IT security and data protection. Knowledge of regulatory requirements in healthcare and critical infrastructure facilities are advantageous You will be able to inspire employees for common goals, implement change processes and create a cooperative working atmosphere You have safe and binding occurrence, cross-departmental organizational understanding and high implementation orientation Their work is characterized by performance, success and solution orientation as well as targeting Persistency and high loadability are your skills You have the willingness to work in presence at the Göttingen site
