In this role you shape the purchase for the purpose association and its association members. You work at the interface of IT, procurement, specialist departments and suppliers and develop business, legal and future-oriented procurement solutions from requirements. In particular you are responsible for the following tasks:

You control the operational and strategic purchase of hardware and software, service and maintenance contracts and licenses. You will keep in mind requirements, quantities, services and conditions. You co-ordinate and prioritize procurement processes, actively drive them forward and, together with the purchasing team, ensure a smooth run in the daily business. You motivate the team to take over without disciplinary leadership. You work closely with the procurement and contract pages and prepare the requirements of the specialist departments professionally well-founded. You will certainly move within the scope of the legal possibilities of a public purpose association. You are testing market and price developments in the IT procurement environment, deriving recommendations for action and identifying as well as realizing optimization potentials in the procurement processes, for example by standardization, bundling and meaningful use of framework conditions and framework contracts. In future, you will use key figures and digital purchasing systems to manage procurement transparently, prepare decisions and continuously develop processes. You advise internal and external customers on procurement issues and conditions, moderate coordination and develop solutions that can be implemented together with the stakeholders.

You have a completed commercial training, a degree (e.g. in the field of BWL, economic law, administrative sciences) or a comparable course of study) or have a comparable qualification through several years of professional experience in purchasing. You bring several years of experience in strategic or tactical purchasing, in particular in product group strategies, market analyses, contract and contract design, cost and performance transparency or supplier control. You ideally have basic knowledge in public procurement law (GWB, VgV, UVgO) or are willing to work on these topics. You have technical understanding, ideally with IT reference, and master the MS Office package safely. You work on your own initiative, structured and highly implemented, communicate understandably, bring different interests together and convince by negotiation skills.
