For our department Purchasing in Leipheim we are looking for a Strategic Commodity Manager (m/w/d) metal parts and assemblies at the next possible date.

Own responsibility for global purchasing of the respective product group including sourcing in Best-Cost-Countries and global product group management Independent negotiation and renegotiation of supplier contracts and agreements – including in English – including the conclusion of individual contracts in the predefined financial framework Implementation of price, value and make-or-buy analyses and identification and implementation of savings potentials Assessment of opportunities and risks of procurement markets and derivation and implementation of appropriate strategies for product groups, categories and suppliers Supplier development and implementation of supplier reviews, audits and quality measures in coordination with the specialist departments Collection and comparison of offers and cross-site cooperation within the Wanzl Group, including support for purchasing controlling and category management in reports and projects

Complete studies in the field of business management, economic engineering or a comparable subject or relevant training in purchasing with international orientation and corresponding further education At least four years of professional experience in an international shopping area Good knowledge of English in word and writing, technical understanding and readiness to travel SAP knowledge is desirable
