As Head of Product Compliance / Regulatory Affairs & Product Law, you take over the central coordination in ensuring market approval and conformity of our products with legal and normative requirements. Leadership and development of a team of specialists in product compliance, certification and quality assurance Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal requirements, standards and guidelines (e.g. CE, REACH, RoHS, GPSR, etc.) Development of a higher-level compliance management system with suitable processes and tools Management of cross-departmental projects under legal requirements Guidance, safeguarding and monitoring the correct implementation, especially for suppliers of purchase products from Asia (certifications, conformity assessments, etc.) Advice, training and awareness of internal areas of regulatory requirements Control and monitoring of internal and external audits Communication with authorities, testing and certification institutes Close cooperation with the Quality Management and the Data Excellence Team
Graduate in engineering, economic law or comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in product regulation and compliance, ideally in a leadership position Deep knowledge of relevant legal requirements and standards, such as GPSR, PPWR, BattR, RoHS, REACH, etc. Experience in dealing with market surveillance authorities and external testing institutes (e.g. TÜV, SGS, Intertek) Outstanding sense of responsibility and joy of decision Impressed communication and conviction strength in interdisciplinary teams A positive and motivating guide person Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
