Engineer as Urban Planner / Spatial and Environmental Planner (m/w/d) in Mainz

We are a renowned office for spatial and environmental planning with locations in the state capitals Mainz, Potsdam and Munich. The planned participation in a sustainable design of urban and landscape spaces is our field of responsibility. We work in an interdisciplinary planning team consisting of urban planners, landscape planners, engineers and natural scientists. For 25 years now, we have been working on projects in the field of landscape planning, construction planning and open-air planning across Germany. We are looking for a city planner / space planner (m/w/d) for our office in Mainz to strengthen our interdisciplinary planning team.

Development of urban planning concepts and integrated urban development planning Implementation of site and potential analyses for various infrastructure measures Creation of preparatory and binding building plans Monitoring of construction planning procedures, including consultations with various stakeholders, including authorities, planning offices, cities and municipalities, as well as representatives of interests Participation in urban competitions Presentation of results at various political bodies or public meetings

Very good knowledge of German - Level C2 As an engineer completed study (Master or Bachelor) of the field of spatial and environmental planning, urban and regional planning, urban planning, environmental management and urban planning in agglomeration areas, also conceivable architect with a focus on urban planning and geography or comparable Planning creativity and joy in cross-sectionally linked planning thinking in the sense of sustainable urban development Solid knowledge of building and planning law Knowledge of relevant planning programs, preferably AutoCAD Self-employed and systematic working, negotiation skills and sovereign communicative skills within the team and with clients
