You are responsible for the strategic development and implementation of the product group strategy for defined material groups and actively design a powerful supplier portfolio. You conduct comprehensive market and procurement analyses, identify new suppliers and evaluate them on the basis of structured potential and supplier reviews. As part of the purchasing strategy, you plan and conduct price and contract negotiations independently, including annual price negotiations and cross-site framework contract design. You have a significant impact on make-or-buy decisions and the identification and realization of savings potentials for your product group. As an interface to engineering, quality, work preparation and finance, you coordinate technical and commercial issues and actively support suppliers in development projects. You support ensuring the quality guidelines of the group of companies, process complaints in cooperation with quality assurance and drive the continuous development of suppliers. You take over the order and contract management (including NDA, strategic framework agreements and project-specific agreements) and the pursuit of relevant KPIs (e.g. PPV, TCA, ACE).

You have completed their studies in the field of business management, economic engineering or comparable. You bring relevant professional experience in international plant or mechanical engineering and have well-founded knowledge in strategic purchasing and in handling ERP/SAP systems. You have the ability to strategically align product groups, identify trends in the procurement market early on and derive long-term measures for cost, quality and risk optimization. With your good English skills in word and writing, you can communicate safely with international suppliers and internal stakeholders. Its structured, analytical and solution-oriented work allows you to strategically develop product groups and identify potentials at an early stage. Strong communication and negotiation skills, professional appearance as well as team skills, commitment and self-motivation are yours. You are ready for occasional domestic and foreign trips and provide high self-responsibility as well as distinct co-ordinative and problem-solving competences. Stays at our Stollberg site are of course for you to ensure close cooperation with the management of strategic shopping.
