Development Engineer Hardware (m/w/d)

For decades, as a leading system house for marine electronics, we have been supporting marines around the world to make the lake safer. We offer a wide range of services to our customers, including Sonars and Sensors, Guide Systems for submarines and overwater ships, mine defence systems, unmanned underwater vehicles and radio and communication systems.

Their task is to design and develop aqueous primary and secondary batteries (based on lithium-ion), including the associated test charging technology. You are responsible for the development, prototype construction, system integration, commissioning and testing (qualification, verification, validation). They ensure a demand-based development (including the derivation of test cases). They support our suppliers in designing the manufacturing processes and maintaining quality requirements. They cooperate in commissioning with international customers on site. Finally, you take over the documentation creation according to the development process specifications.

They have completed their studies as an engineer (TH/FH) in the field of electrical engineering or a similar subject or a comparable, completed training with corresponding further training. They are ideally characterized by several years of professional experience in the field of battery technology or electrochemical energy systems. They bring good knowledge in measurement and control technology (including programming of microcontrollers in C/C++). Your ability to abstract, conceptualize, structure and organize is excellent. An independent way of working and strong communication skills, including in the international environment, are of course for you. They have very good English skills in word and writing. Local business trips to Germany and abroad will give you pleasure.
