(Senior) RegTech & Legal Expert (m/f/d)

We are looking for a (Senior) RegTech & Legal Expert (m/w/d) that combines legal expertise with curiosity for technology and helps our product team translate complex regulatory requirements into intuitive, user-friendly workflows.

Bridge between Right & Product Analyze new and existing regulatory requirements (including GDPR, EU AI Act, Information Security) and translate them together with the product team into clear, practical product functionalities. Develop legal content, workflows and decision-making aids that guide users through complex topics – understandable, correct and user-oriented. Bring your legal perspective into the product strategy and support product management in prioritizing and developing regulatory issues. Collaboration in the product team Work closely with Product Management, UX and Engineering. Ensure that regulatory requirements are not only met, but also simplified for users. Continue to build a deep understanding of data law and compliance across the company. Sales & Customer Success support Accompanying sales in customer talks as a professional contact person: in data protection, AI, compliance and product-specific questions. Support our sales and CS teams in legal detail by introducing additional specialist expertise and providing an excellent customer experience together with them. Marketing and Thought Leadership Research, structure and prepare legal topics for webinars, blog articles, specialist contributions or social media content. Position yourself and caralegal as a Thought Leader by explaining complex topics clearly, concisely and user-friendly. Identify relevant regulatory developments and translate them into understandable and useful content.

A completed study in the field of information law, economic law, data protection law, IT law or comparable. 2–5+ years of relevant professional experience in the company, ideally in data protection/compliance functions or in the RegTech/Legal-Tech environment. Understanding the GDPR and ideally first contact points with adjacent regulatory areas (e.g. EU AI Act, Information Security, NIS2, Data Act, DORA). The ability to prepare complex legal matters in a comprehensible, concise and applied manner. Enthusiasm for digital products, software workflows and user-centric design. Structured, independent operation and high quality standards. Strong communication skills to convey legal content clearly and understandably. Current knowledge of German and English.
