Senior Systems Engineer Platform - VMware / Veeam (m/f/d)

You run, manage and develop the VMware Virtual Cloud Foundation (VCF) as a central virtualization platform, including the optimization of the computing, network and storage infrastructure You continue to operate and develop Veeam Backup & Replication infrastructure and manage enterprise and backup storage systems You plan and implement technical design concepts and work with infrastructure projects and technology launches You perform performance, capacity and availability analyses and support backup, recovery and disaster recovery processes Analyze and eliminate complex system disorders in 2nd and 3rd level support, including the administration of SAN components (Fibre Channel) You will continue to operate and develop GPU virtualization solutions and deliver the selection, dimensioning and introduction of GPU-based server and AI infrastructures

You have a completed IT training, a study of computer science or a comparable qualification You bring at least 5 years of practical experience in the operation of complex IT infrastructures You have very good knowledge of VMware vSphere, ideally with VCF or comparable platform solutions You have profound experience with Veeam Backup & Replication as well as enterprise/backup storage and SAN administration You have high-availability, backup and disaster recovery expertise and experience with Windows and Linux infrastructures You have experience with GPU virtualization and GPU-based server platforms as well as understanding the infrastructure requirements of AI applications and LLMs
