Number: MER00047SZ In the “Drive System Software & Application – Drive Application” department, we bundle development responsibility for functional software and calibration in the areas of driveability, operating strategy and transmission for all partially and fully electrified vehicle generations of today and tomorrow. In this way, we significantly shape the drive functions and the driving feeling of all the drive variants of the Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-Maybach, Mercedes-AMG and Mercedes-Benz Vans brands. We accompany the development of our drives from initial commissioning to release. We are in close cooperation with all specialist areas involved in vehicle development and control the development processes across the brand. These challenges include: Own responsible takeover and active implementation of subprojects Exciting insights into the drive development from the concept phase to testing and active participation in the further development of our drive portfolio Participation in workshops on exciting development challenges in an international environment Participation in conceptual and visual processing of management documents and participation in committee meetings Close cooperation with the Head of Division on strategic and organisational issues The activity can begin from November 2026.

Course in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a comparable degree course Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Secure handling of MS Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook Basic knowledge in common programming languages is advantageous Basic knowledge of common drive concepts are advantageous Class B driving licence Personal competencies Independent, structured and targeted mode of operation Interest in cross-disciplinary process control and interface work Embossed communication and team skills High conceptual skills Additional information: We are looking forward to your online application with CV, lettering, certificates, current enrollment certificate, giving the semester and proof of the regular study period.
