The Stiftung Nieder-Ramstädter Diakonie (NRD) has been supporting people for 125 years. The “Children, Youth and Family” division of the Nieder-Ramstädter Diakonie combines offers of integration aid and youth assistance under one roof. This allows us to provide individual and needs-oriented support for children, young people and their families.

Praktikant (m/w/d)-Tagsgruppe Kinder- und Jugendhilfe From 01.08.2026

Would you like to accompany young people in their development, promote them and serve after school in the afternoon? Then you are right with us! In the Mühltal day group we serve seven children between 6 and 14 years according to §32 KJSG. An old-fashioned house with beautiful outdoor area offers space for development and accompaniment of young people as well as for parental work. Shops, cultural offers and playgrounds can be reached on foot.

How does your day look like • Together with the team, you support children and young people with different needs and allow them to customize their everyday life • They accompany the implementation of homework and promote in school matters • As part of case-responsibility, you work with the child's family or young people and support them in educational matters • They work trustfully with teachers, youth office and other cooperation partners • In addition, you will take over the design of individual and group offers (e.g. creative, sport, nature, household, adventure education) in the afternoon • They actively design help planning and reporting, including parental talks • They are involved in the holiday and leisure planning and participate in the implementation

We wish you • A completed training/studies as an educatorin, social workerin, social educationin, diploma teacherin, medical education*in (m/w/d) or the like • Ideally, you already have professional experience in the youth assistance field starters, we are on the side when you enter • Required behaviors meet with patience and communication skills • A professional attitude to proximity and distance in pedagogical work is of course for you • They think holistic, creative, empathic and solution-oriented
