Senior Java Developer (SpringBoot) (m/f/d)

Technical responsibility for the new and further development of complex Java services in the Spring Ecosystem within an agile, cross-functional team. You develop microservices that intelligently integrate SaaS solutions, transform data models, expand existing functionalities or provide completely new features - and thus contribute significantly to the further development of our omnichannel platform. Make architectural and design decisions for scalable, wartable and performant backend solutions. Mentoring and professional support of junior and mid-level developers in the team. Implementation and establishment of best practices in code reviews, continuous integration and deployment processes. Ensuring clean code, technical excellence and sustainable software architecture taking into account time-to-market. Close cooperation with Product Ownern, QA Engineers and Frontend developers to implement innovative Java Services.

Complete study of computer science or a comparable qualification. At least 5 years of professional experience in the development of Java-based backend systems focusing on Spring Boot. Deep knowledge of the Spring Ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Integration, Spring Security etc.). Experience in the definition and documentation of RESTful APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger. Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns and modern development principles (e.g. Clean Code, domain drive design). Experience with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps practices. Embossed analytical skills, sense of responsibility and team orientation. Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
