SAP Application & Process Expert / Deputy Head of IT Management (m/f/d)

In this key position, you shape the strategic development of our SAP system landscape and drive forward the digitization and standardization of our business processes. As a central interface between departments, key users, IT and external partners, you combine technological expertise with a strong understanding of processes and operational requirements. At the same time, as Deputy Head of IT Management, you support the leadership of the area in strategic, organizational and human issues. You actively shape the SAP roadmap and the future orientation of our SAP S/4HANA landscape. You analyze existing business processes, identify optimization and digitization potentials and develop sustainable, cross-departmental SAP solutions. You advise specialist areas and project teams to translate technical requirements into integrated SAP processes. You ensure the stable, secure and efficient operation of the SAP system landscape including interfaces and connected systems. You plan and realize system adjustments, customizing, change requests, releases, transports and productive changes. You take over the management of SAP projects and digitalization initiatives and control rollouts, migrations and system extensions. You coordinate internal project participants, external implementation partners and AMS service providers and keep in mind quality, dates and budgets. You represent the Head of IT Management in defined areas of responsibility and participate in IT, resource, investment and project planning. You take over the technical coordination and further development of the SAP and IT team and promote sustainable knowledge building within the organization. You develop the key user community, moderate workshops and accompany training, user training, testing and system removal. You support stakeholder and escalation management at management level and promote the acceptance of new processes and applications. You contribute to the further development of authorization, governance and compliance concepts and ensure audit-proof documentation.

You have a degree in economic informatics, computer science, business management or a comparable qualification. You bring several years of professional experience in SAP consulting, SAP module support or SAP Application Management. You have profound knowledge of SAP S/4HANA as well as deep experience in at least two SAP modules, ideally in the combinations MM and SD or FI and CO. You understand integrated end-to-end business processes and can safely translate professional requirements into sustainable SAP solutions. You have practical experience in SAP-Customizing as well as interfaces, integration scenarios and authorization concepts. You have already managed SAP projects or subprojects and successfully coordinated external service providers or AMS partners. You have a fundamental understanding of IT infrastructure, information security, governance and compliance. Ideally you bring additional knowledge to SAP EWM, PS, QM or DMS as well as experience from SAP transformation or S/4HANA projects. Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as NIS2 or ISO 27001 and experience in an industrial production environment are advantageous. First experience in the professional leadership, team coordination or development of employees completes your profile. You combine strategic thinking with high process and consulting skills and work analytically, structured and solution-oriented. You convince by their own initiative, sense of responsibility, decision-making strength and a sovereign appearance towards different stakeholders. You communicate safely in German and English.
