Product Manager Spare Parts & Lifecycle (m/f/d)

As a product manager (m/w/d) for Spare Parts & Lifecycle, you are responsible for the operational support of our global portfolio over the entire product life cycle and ensure that our products – even long after their market launch – can be operated reliably and economically successfully. You define the spare parts assortment in close coordination with the development and technical documentation and continuously optimize it. For this purpose, you are responsible for the complete spare parts management as well as the supervision of international companies in this area. Your tasks include the maintenance and quality assurance of material master data in SAP as well as the preparation and care of product prices. You observe, analyze and evaluate market, technology and customer requirements in the lifecycle environment for defining, maintaining and developing product requirements. The monitoring of product performance and the definition of appropriate measures to ensure competitiveness and profitability are also part of your responsibility. You are responsible for controlling and implementing product changes and terminations (including discontinuation management). Together with relevant internal interfaces (development, marketing, service, sales) you develop product and lifecycle requirements. You participate in global product launch activities and present product concepts, status reports and decision bases for management and project bodies.

A successfully completed technical training or a technical/business studies, ideally in the field of engineering or business administration, forms the basis of your qualification. You have several years of professional experience in product management, spare parts management or in a comparable function in the technical environment. Experience in project management, international cooperation and SAP as well as Atlassian tools (Jira & Confluence) are beneficial. You have knowledge of the Requirement Management, Pricing and the business case development. You are safe in handling presentation techniques and have a strong understanding of technical product structures. You are characterized by an analytical, structured and solution-oriented method. You have very good communication skills and enjoy working with international teams. Negotiating German and English skills as well as the readiness to travel (about 20%) complete your profile.
