Head of Infrastructure and Fleet Management (m/f/d)

Discipline and professional management of the areas of maintenance, workshop, IT, stops and fleet management Responsibility for the organisation, coordination and further development of the maintenance of our different locations Responsibility for the safe operation of our workshop and cooperation with external workshops Ensuring compliance with all legal, technical and operational requirements Responsibility for strategic procurement, management and further development of our fleet of vehicles (diesel and electric buses) Active design of the transition to electromobility, which is already in full swing Implementation of tendering and award procedures for vehicles, workshop services, energy, fuels (HVO), services, charging infrastructure and stations, including negotiations with suppliers and the conclusion and termination of contracts Control and optimization of the technical infrastructure of our buildings and IT Implementation of process, quality and outcome controls Management and participation in forward-looking infrastructure projects, in particular in the field of electromobility and charging infrastructure Leadership of a very heterogeneous department with different topics and more than 20 employees

Multiannual professional and leadership experience in infrastructure, workshop or fleet management, ideally in a bus or transport company Experience in project management and control of complex change processes Successfully completed technical training (e.g. building, electrical or utility technology) or completed studies in a corresponding field Experience in leading larger organizational units as well as successful management of interdisciplinary teams Impressed leadership skills with the ability to develop employees, to actively shape changes and to bring together different areas of expertise in a targeted manner Entrepreneurial thinking, economic action and the ability to make informed decisions even in complex situations and to implement them consistently Experience in technical purchasing as well as in procurement, procurement and contract management Willingness to take responsibility for cross-disciplinary issues and for strategic decisions with long-term relevance for the KRN Sovereign appearance, high communication and conflict resolution competence as well as a structured and solution-oriented mode of operation – even in challenging situations
