DNV's – Energy Systems’ “Asset Management” department is looking for a senior asset engineer Management team, which provides services in the areas of high-voltage influence, electromagnetic fields and electromagnetic compatibility. The team includes nine engineers and technicians with a mixture of highly motivated beginners and experienced Engineers who lead younger colleagues and communicate their knowledge. The team supports network operators, plant manufacturers, energy suppliers and utilities in improving and optimizing operations to ensure a high level of human safety and increase the service life of the equipment. The Ensure, analyze, calculate, measure, and check the electrical systems before commissioning and during the long-term operating phase and whether the customer systems meet all normative and regulatory requirements. This place is located in our office in Dresden.

The position may include the following tasks: high-voltage influence in general (release lines on pipelines, cables, etc.), calculations for limiting value retention as well as minimizing possibilities in the field of high-voltage influence, geographic data analysis for testing on exposure to external installations; measurement and analysis of energy quality (over vibrations, etc.), Qualifications: University degree - Master or Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Energy Technology or comparable, Advanced nodes via EMF and high voltage influencing are absolutely necessary, Perfect German language is essential, Personnel management, team capacity, independent work, takeover of responsibility, Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or a similar CAD application desirable (but not required), Good programming knowledge (Python), Very good MS Office knowledge (especially Excel and Word), Ready to work on site in the field and in the substation Joy in working with software applications such as modeling and calculation (Example XGSLab), driving licence class B, Commitment and readiness for new and challenging tasks.
