Teamwork: Working in a cross-disciplinary team to digitize customer and sales processes in the field of life insurance in an agile environment Development: Development of Java-based services, interfaces and systems – including purchasing software from msg manufacturer – within SOA and Microservice architectures Software Lifecycle: Accompanying all phases of the software lifecycle and integrating solutions into the existing IT landscape together with the IT operation in the DevOps environment, including monitoring, tracing and ELK Testing: Ensuring the consistency and stability of software changes in test and production environments IT security: Initiation and implementation of IT security measures Architecture: Designing the application architecture in close cooperation with the IT architects

Education: Completed study of computer science or comparable qualification Personal Strengths: Joy in solving complex tasks and work in the interdisciplinary team, passion for software development, professional experience as a software developer (of advantage) Technical expertise: knowledge and interest in: o Java and associated frameworks such as Spring or JEE o Design patterns and application architectures such as microservices o Web services with REST or Soap o Use of CI/CD with build systems like Maven, Jenkins o SQL databases and their functions (e.g. PostgreSQL) o Test automation with tools such as JUnit, ReadyAPI and Selenium o Experience in msg.iSuite is a plus Passion: Enthusiasm for digital trends, technologies and working methods as well as pleasure in continuous improvements
