Lecturer at the Dresden Educational Centre (m/f/d)

You take over the implementation and support of various educational formats with participants from different occupational groups and management levels with the aim of strengthening and expanding operational competence in occupational health and safety. You contribute to the design, development and revision of our offers. You work in internal working groups, e.g. specialist and seminar working groups. You work in external bodies and working groups, including DGUV working groups. You represent and advise the educational management. You work with practical exercises and demonstrations. You undertake activities in projects and working groups in the field of education.

Graduate degree, Master of Science, Master of Engineering or a comparable qualification. At least three years of practical professional experience in education and crafts/in industry. A special expertise in the fields of physics, chemistry, fire or machine protection is expressly desired. Insufficient experience in occupational and health protection is expressly desired and advantageous, but do not constitute a single selection criterion, provided that the compelling basic requirements (e.g. practical experience in fire protection, laser safety, hazardous materials or machine protection) are not fulfilled. Experience in the use of educational methods and media. Good knowledge of English in word and writing. Excellent methodological and didactic skills. Cross-disciplinary knowledge in the field of occupational safety or the willingness to acquire it Conflict-solving capability, collaborative and team capacity, reliability and sense of responsibility. Ability to explain complex relationships in a comprehensible way. Ideally, knowledge in the field of competence development and acquisition. Ready for further training, in particular in the fields of machine protection, hazardous materials, laser safety, fire protection. Willingness to be employed as a lecturer at all educational sites of the BG ETEM.
