STUDY CENTRE: The Institute of Epidemiology and Social Medicine runs the study centre of the NAKO Health Study at the University of Münster. NAKO is a large population study funded by the BMBF, the countries and the Helmholtz Association, which investigates the influence of various risk factors on the development of common diseases www.nako.de.

Conducting the standardized examination program with the study participants, including blood collection, blood pressure measurement, anthropometry, ECG, ultrasound, neuropsychological tests, lung function test Computer-assisted, medical interviews of participants Pre- and post-processing of investigations and their documentation Pre-analytical processing of bio samples, preparation of samples for long-term storage (in the laboratory of the study centre; about one day/week and, if necessary, holiday and disease representation) Participation in examination training, certification and quality assurance measures

Complete vocational training as health and nursing staff (gn) or other medical training e.g. as medical specialist (gn) Current clinical-practical experiences in dealing with patients (gn*) or study participants Experiences in blood collection and in the use of apparatus vascular diagnosis, e.g. ECG, ultrasound, blood pressure or impedance measurement, are advantageous Safe handling of medical devices and common computer programs (MS Office) Very good knowledge of German language Willingness to take over a late service per week (end of 19:42) and a Saturday service per month (end of 16:12) Teamability, good communicative skills and joy in dealing with the volunteers Motivation and self-employment Joy in a standardized way of working and the willingness to interdisciplinary cooperation
