Municipal Disability Officer (m/f/d)

Consultation and support in the implementation of the requirements of the National Disability Compensation Act (L-BGG) as well as participation in the development and implementation of concepts for the fulfilment of the UN Convention on the Law of Prevention Consultation of people with disabilities and their relatives and perception of the function as a ombudsperson Professional consultancy of authorities and institutions in matters of people with disabilities and function as a contact person for local inclusion agents (w/m/d) Public relations and awareness raising and awareness on the issues of disability, inclusion and accessibility Reporting of technical opinions on projects affecting people with disabilities Collection of needs, expectations and interests of people with disabilities and collection and processing of relevant information Coordination and organisational support of the Inclusion Advisory Board of the Rhine-Neckar-Kreise

Completed specialist or University studies of social work/pedagogy, sociology/social science or comparable degree Multiannual professional experience required Knowledge of disability, inclusion and accessibility, knowledge of the UN BRK, BGG and L-BGG Good computer skills (MS Office) High level of customer orientation Safe occurrence, self-initiative and decision-making and a very good communication capability Representative project management, moderation and presentation skills There is a need for a particular closeness to the concerns of people with disabilities, for example through their own experience, by family members or through relevant personal, social or professional activities. Class B driving licence
