As Head of Department, you are the professional and disciplinary leadership of a software development department You are responsible for the work organization within the department incl. scheduling and tracking The strategic and operational development of the department is in your hands In the acquisition and control of development partners / subcontractors, you are in the lead You take care of the derivation and implementation of targets for the department from the specified objectives of the company and the development area You actively shape the development process for their own areas of responsibility and beyond, In this course, personnel planning, capacity planning and personnel development is another part of your function You ensure the demand and promotion of employees for professional and personal development In addition, you are responsible for the analysis, specification and monitoring of, among others, the topics of occupational safety and environmental protection in close cooperation with the company's departments As a further exciting task, you will take care of the coordination and maintenance of the interfaces to other process participants within (in particular to system engineering) and outside the development (project management, configuration management, quality assurance, development partners, etc.) You work on the further development of internal and superordinate structures and processes You continue the unification of methods and tools in the software development processes The technical coordination with other project participants to achieve the inferred content and dates is your responsibility You work very closely and coordinated with all relevant bodies within the KNDS Group, especially with other development areas of KNDS.
