You are also responsible for the design, development and maintenance of our data architecture & infrastructure based on Google BigQuery & Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence Platform (FDIP) Design and implement robust data models to enable efficient storage & analysis Development, implementation & monitoring of reliable ETL/ELT pipelines for extraction, transformation & charge of data from different source systems Automation of data processes & workflows to ensure data availability & up-to-date across all relevant platforms Identification & Optimization of Performance Engines and Ensuring the provision of high-quality data for analysis & reporting purposes in Looker & Oracle Analytics Cloud Ensuring data security & compliance (e.g. GDPR) Close cooperation with Data Scientists, Analysts & other teams in an agile environment

Complete study of (economic) informatics, natural sciences or comparable qualifications and at least 2-3 years of relevant professional experience as a data engineer You speak fluently - and have proven, well-founded experience in building and managing Cloud Data Warehouses (Google BigQuery & Oracle) Ideally practical experience in dealing with the Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence Platform (FDIP), including its data structures (Data Warehouse Cloud Service / Autonomous Data Warehouse) & Processes Excellent SQL skills, experience with the optimization of complex queries on large volumes of data and ideally knowledge in a script language (e.g. Python) Practical experience in the development and orchestration of ETL/ELT pipelines for the integration of data between heterogeneous systems (dataflow, data fusion, etc.) Funded knowledge in the field of data modeling & design (e.g. Kimball, Data Vault) for analytical purposes, experience with the performance optimization of large datasets & data warehouse structures (e.g. partitioning, clustering) and ideally experience with BI tools such as Looker and/or Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)
