Support and development of product group strategy in the team as a link between strategic purchasing, operational purchasing, research & development and quality management Responsibility for the procurement of production materials for the St. Blasien plant and overarching projects for all European sites Review and further development of existing and selection and qualification of new suppliers and partners (supplier management) Identification of optimization potentials also through benchmarking, standardization and consolidation Preparation and implementation of supplier negotiations Creation and management of supply requests, as well as negotiation of contracts with suppliers Escalation level in cooperation with operational purchasing Implementation of special projects at product group level (e.g. supplier termination) Generating and promoting cost reduction initiatives to achieve objectives Data analysis and cleaning in SAP

Complete technical or commercial training, a subject-specific training or a study is advantageous. German and English knowledge in word and writing 3- 5 years of experience in international procurement, preferably also in contract law Hands-on mentality Knowledge of MS Office and SAP Secure appearance, good moderation and negotiation skills as well as communication strength at all levels Quality awareness, affinity for technology and production as well as entrepreneurial thinking and acting Intercultural competence, readiness to travel and knowledge of English and German, other languages of advantage
