IT strategy and initiatives: You shape IT sub-strategies and initiatives and are responsible for the design and development of the IT architecture and the creation of new concepts and standards as well as their further development. Project planning & implementation: You are responsible for the continuous improvement of the IT infrastructure as well as for the planning and structured implementation of infrastructure projects (e.g. upgrades, migrations, rollouts). Mentoring & Team Support: You support team members as a professional contact person in complex questions and promote the exchange of knowledge in the team. You contribute to the further development of your colleagues (Mentoring). Operation & Maintenance: You are responsible for the smooth operation of the IT infrastructure – especially from networks (switches / routing), firewall systems and server landscapes – as well as their continuous maintenance and optimization. Security & Compliance: Implementation and monitoring of security measures in infrastructure (e.g. network segmentation, firewall rules, patch management) and ensuring compliance with security policies. Virtualization & Cloud: Administration of virtualization solutions (e.g. Hyper-V) and container platforms (Docker). Integration and management of cloud services (especially Microsoft Azure and AWS) into a hybrid infrastructure environment. Documentation: Maintenance of technical documentation – e.g. network plans, system architecture, operating manuals – as well as optimization of processes and standards.

Successfully completed studies in the field of computer science, alternatively a technical training or comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in the administration of IT infrastructures (network, server, firewall) – ideally in a growing or changing company Knowledge of network technologies ( routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, etc.) and practical experience in configuration and operation of firewall systems Deep experience in the administration of server systems (Windows and Linux servers) as well as safe handling of virtualization technologies (e.g. Hyper-V, VMware) and container platforms (Docker) Practice in the use of cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS desirable), you can seamlessly integrate cloud services into existing structures and know the challenges of such environments Associate level certifications and knowledge of common IT process frameworks of advantage Strategic thinking, pronounced analytical skills and experience in IT project management Team skills and strong communication skills – you like to share your knowledge and act as a mentor to advance your team professionally Very good knowledge of German in word and writing are assumed; English knowledge is advantageous
