They create simulation models and develop algorithms for steering, navigation and control (GNC) of missiles or steering munition. After the design in MATLAB or Simulink, you are involved in the implemenation and testing of GNC algorithms. The main focus of your work is the development of performant and robust air controllers with classic and modern control methods. In addition to robust linear control methods such as H∞ control or μ-synthesis, you also apply nonlinear methods such as the dynamic inversion or the sliding mode control. They are con­cepts or specifics, work on applications and docu­ment your development work.

They have successfully completed their studies (master/graduate) of control technology, technical engineering, electrical engineering or aerospace engineering with deepening of control technology and ideally bring first professional experience or a closed process. They have a well-founded knowledge of system dynamics, control technology and simulation technology as well as basic knowledge of flight mechanics. In addition, you are safe in handling MATLAB or Simulink as well as for programming with C/C++. We require experience with MS Office as well as reliable German and English skills.
